Triangle Rowing Club (TRC) made club history by earning two gold medals at the USRowing Youth Nationals Regatta, competing against the nation's top youth clubs and crews.

Athletes qualified to compete at the Nationals regatta by placing in the top 4 of their event at one of the USRowing Regionals Regattas held around the country. This year TRC qualified a team record 5 crews to move forward to Nationals.

Gold medals were won in the Men's Youth 2- (Cole Nordby, Aidan Humbert) and the Women's U17 1x (Annelise Hahl).

In addition to the 2 gold medals, TRC's Women's Youth 2- (Alice Clark, Liliane DeMarco) finished 6th, the Women's U17 8+ (c: Grayson Williams, Margaret McCormick, Jordan Van Valkenburgh, Lucy Laborde, Alyssa Hakim, Anneke Calhoun, Caroline Cotton, Olivia Chan, Iulia Guta) finished 15th, the Men's U17 8+ (c: Madelaine Rouse, Jakob Hassig, Brady Hart, Charlie Saxenmeyer, Ethan Cristea, Alexander Dick, Rylan Bachmann, Nathan Moore, James Barber) finished 19th, and the Women's Youth 8+ (c: Sofia Cornetto, Alice Clark, Annelise Hahl, Savana Vann, Camden Howard, Anna Lily Laborde, Liliane DeMarco, Lizzie-Kay Kinnell, Libby Gascoigne) finished 22nd.

About Triangle Rowing Club Triangle Rowing Club (TRC) is a competitive rowing team based in Wake County, North Carolina for middle and high school students in the Triangle area. The club practices at Lake Wheeler Park in Raleigh, and is coached by Will White and Christine Shaffer.
